EXAMINATIONS

Examinations, a stress,

Students are depressed,

Some with sample papers, but some still with chess,

Some are chilling and some are worrying,

This makes a difference in report card fillings,

But in fact, it does not have feelings,

And what about the datesheet?

It’s worth a heart attack sheet,

Which we experience during exams,

After every one or two days,

As per the sayings of our dear datesheet,

The time when exams are on head,

The trouble goes to student’s head,

All day and night, spent with books,

With a fright of hanging on hooks,

Marks are the goals,

But they are far like the poles,

Brain says leave the games and phone,

They are a trouble,

But heart says leave the brain aside,

Because it is crack double,

But cracks are filled with bookish stuff,

And here stomach wants some foody stuff,

Oh God!!

I am troubled,

Whom should I listen to?

Whom should I ignore?

So so so much to study,

But how to burry,

That study in mind,

When these books doesn’t seem to be mine,

Examinations are useless,

They make students hopeless,

Mind becomes weightless,

And food becomes tasteless,

Food attracts me in day,

And bed attracts me at night,

But the magnetic attractions’ topic in the book,

Is out of sight,

I see the ions flowing in the bucket,

Wanna throw them into the electric socket,

Boxes in the graph of statistics,

Are like magic sticks,

If used properly, you achieve your goal,

Otherwise you get a big hole,

Many a times, I made notes,

But now they look like horror quotes,

I wanted to eat, drink and be merry,

But examinations snatched my cherry and berry,

Now my mind is full of query,

Which is in a situation of curry,

My friends call me confirm their doubt,

I can’t understand what are they talking about,

God bless me with good health of body and mind,

So that my invigilator is kind,

I want mercy, I want grace,

Give me praise, when I gaze,

At my question paper,

So that I don’t faint.
