WORLD WAFFLE DAY

Waffle Day is a tradition that is celebrated in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, on March 25.  Basically, a waffle is a dish made from leavened batter or dough that is cooked between two plates that are patterned to give a characteristic size, shape, and surface impression. There are many variations based on the type of waffle iron and recipe used.

This was to remind all the waffle lovers about today’s special day. If you have any memories tied with waffles or your secret ingredients, do share it in the comment section below.
